Tub in walk in shower — Berkeley, CA

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

When you start planning a walk-in shower, the final price depends on a few specific things. The size of your space and the complexity of the plumbing layout play a major role. You will also see differences based on the type of tile, the quality of the fixtures, and whether you need to address existing water damage behind the walls. Adding features like built-in seating, custom shelving, or high-end glass enclosures will also shift the budget. We provide exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

Some homeowners want to keep the footprint of a tub but upgrade the safety and accessibility of the area. This usually involves removing an old, high-walled unit and installing a low-threshold shower base in the exact same spot. It is a great way to maximize your bathroom space without needing a total floor plan overhaul. We can convert your current tub area into a spacious, accessible shower that fits your lifestyle much better.
